Privacy Policy

The only thing this site asks you for is what you type into the contact form. It also counts visits, without cookies and without identifying you. There is no advertising, and nothing is sold or shared.

Last updated 3 September 2026.

What we collect

The contact form asks for your first name, last name, email address and message, and optionally your phone number. Those fields are sent to us so we can reply. Nothing else on the site asks you for anything.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry and, if it turns into a piece of work, to carry on that correspondence. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not use your details for anything you did not contact us about.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising, which is why you were not asked to accept anything. It does count visits, through Cloudflare Web Analytics: which page was opened, which country the request came from, which site linked here, and what kind of device and browser were used. That measurement stores nothing on your device — no cookie, no local storage, no fingerprint kept — and it builds no profile of you, either across visits here or across other sites. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. Web fonts are served from this domain rather than fetched from a third party; the analytics script is the one file a page loads from anywhere else. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

Who else sees it

Form submissions reach us through an email delivery provider and then sit in our company mailbox. Those providers process the message on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we share it with no one else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within twelve months. Correspondence relating to a project is kept for as long as the engagement runs and for the period afterwards that our tax and contractual obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@haffordtech.com and we will act on it within thirty days. If you are in the EU or the UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
